Day 62 of 365:
Write a new post in response to today’s one-word prompt.
You go that way, and I’ll go this way. We should meet up again at some point. I’m sure we will.
Somewhere along the way, you will find what you need. Maybe I’ll find what I am looking for.
Your path may be tricky. It may be muddy, or slippery. You will have to step carefully. My path is messy, with long grass that tangles around my feet. I cannot see the ground. But I know it is there. I know where it will take me.
Find me at that great, big tree. Remember it? The one with the falling apart trunk. The one that is slowly sinking back into the ground. Let’s meet there. You cannot miss it.
So you go your way. And I will go mine.
We have to part ways so we can meet up again.
As we always do.
(inspired by the word Divide and embellished from material I am working on in my novel.)
