Weekly Photo Challenge: A Day In My Life

A day in the life of me?

Before seeing this challenge theme, I would have told you my days are pretty uneventful.  I work from home and don’t get out that much!  So if you merely ask me to describe my day, I would probably tell you “not much happens”.

My phone is the one thing that I carry with me from the moment I wake up in the morning, to the moment my head hits the pillow at night.  I figured this would be the best way to capture my day.

Starting with my first sleepy steps at 6:15 am, I began snapping random moments as my day progressed.  As it turns out, photographing my day paints a much more detailed picture.

Here is what happened on Tuesday, April 2nd…just a normal, average day in the life of me:

This is me, getting ready for an early morning run and workout:

After my workout, my day really begins:

This is Ripley’s favourite time of the day (Walk Time):

Finally…bed time:

(currently reading “John Dies At The End”  and loving it.  If you haven’t read this book, you need to.  If you have – don’t spoil it by telling my what happens at the end…)

So there you have it.  It may not be the most exciting photo-log of daily events…but they are my daily events….

🙂

    1. Oh – do post! This was an awesome exercise. It gave me lots to reflect upon…seeing my day moment-by-moment made me realise that what I do all day isn’t as insignificant as I thought! 🙂

    1. Sometimes I think working from home is harder – especially with little distractions to challenge your concentration…like cats and dogs…and kids…and laundry. I find it much more peaceful – but then I’ve always preferred to be alone. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. You have a very pretty kitty! 🙂
