Hours

Clocks

You can fill a wall with all the clocks you want…it doesn’t mean you will have more hours in the day.

You’ll just have to trust me on this.

  1. You know I ALWAYS remark to people about how there aren’t enough hours in a day to get everything done. You’d think 24 hrs is a lot of time, but really some days, it feels like the clock is ticking faster just to taunt you. Great pic. I pinned yet again. Just a curious question, and you don’t have to answer – do your pics always come out perfect, or do you do a little photoshop before you post? I’m asking because I recently bought a DSLR to try my hand at it, and none of my pics look as great as yours even when the I’ve got all the settings right.

    1. LOL ! Okay – you asked a very fair question, so I will gladly give you a fair answer… Yes, I will – if need be – adjust an image in Corel (don’t ask me why I don’t use Photoshop, I can’t remember the answer). When I went to school, we learned how to sort out contrast and colour enhancement issues in the dark room…now I do it on a computer. :S But always, when shooting, the goal is to not have to …however, things don’t always turn out the way I envisioned though!
As for your DSLR….don’t take this the wrong way!….what settings do you have it on? Manual or automatic? Just experiment and have fun – it’s all in the name of art!!

As for the time thing – having only 24 hours a day totally sucks…and yes, clocks are terrible for their teasing and taunting ways….

      1. Ha ha. Thank you for such an honest answer. I never use the automatic. The whole point of buying the DSLR was to entertain myself with a new gadget. I keep experimenting with settings. At first, every single picture I took turned out blurry. I finally figured out that the problem was actually my eyesight. Now I get pretty sharp shots, but I’m still slow on the settings, looking through manuals and stuff like that. The slowness makes me miss out on some great photo ops so now I think I’m going to just practice on still objects and play around with them on my computer. I’ll try not to be so anal and just think of it as a fun project šŸ™‚ Thanks for the advice.

    1. I know – what is up with that? Why can’t time ever sloooow down?!

Every once in a while, my college education comes in handy…like in this image… šŸ˜‰

      Thank you!
